ARCADIS seeks an Environmental Engineer to support a growing base of projects in our Lenexa, KS office. This is an entry level opportunity for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in environmental consulting. Fieldwork may include soil and groundwater collection, operation and maintenance activities for remediation systems, soil gas surveys, soil and groundwater sampling, groundwater well installation, and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.

Office work may include data compilation, data management, report writing, and regulatory file review.

Candidates should have strong understanding of the fundamentals of process engineering and design, be proficient with technical writing, exhibit independent thinking skills, and be able to work successfully in a team setting.

Local candidates only; no relocation or travel reimbursement for this position.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 0-1
* Education required: BS in Engineering-Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related field
* Skills required: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Registrations/Certifications preferred: EIT; 40 hour OSHA Hazwoper
* Years experience preferred: 2
* Skills preferred: Experience in environmental remediation and knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred

* This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does not manage others.
