Job Description :

Position Summary

With supervision, sets up and operates machine tools performing maintenance, overhaul, repair and production operations on varied product lines ranging from Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Power Generation to Heat Transfer Products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Inspects, determines and installs applicable items required by the repair process

- Inspects work performed insuring compliance with repair data

- Performs minor repair operations (helicoil installation, flushing, grit blasting, vapor degreasing, etc.)

- Interacts with related departments as required

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED and six months of related experience and/or training

- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings

- Ability to read standard gauges and other measuring devices

- Understanding of machining principles on materials ranging from stainless steel to magnesium

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other industry-related software
