Maintenance Mechanic - Third Shift
Job Summary
Preventive maintenance and repairs on utility services including but not limited to plumbing, air, vacuum systems, filters and HVAC.
This position is third shift 11pm-7:30am
Responsibilities & Duties
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Knowledge of PLC s. Knowledge and ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring and testing instruments.
Line changeovers and making all appropriate adjustments for efficient operation.
Troubleshoot and fine tune or adjust equipment to insure proper operation.
Routine visual inspection and/or testing of equipment and structures to identify and report any need for scheduled repairs.
Lubrication of all plant equipment, repair and change and/or adjust product seals, gaskets, shafts, blades, o-rings, packing material (mechanical parts).
Preventive maintenance and repairs on utility and services including but not limited to plumbing, air, vacuum systems, filters and HVAC.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (for example TPM or similar activity).
Follow established department and plant procedures and including (but not limited to) those related to preventive maintenance systems, obtaining parts, and taking corrective action when hazardous or potential loss conditions are found.
Keeps tools, equipment and work area safe, clean and- orderly. At all times work safely around equipment, tools and co-workers.

Key Requirements
High school degree with minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience preferably food mfg Experience with high-speed packaging equipment, ammonia refrigeration, electrical installation, weld .Experience in general plant mechanical diagnostics, repair and maintenance, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
