Position Summary:
QA Analyst needed for the Lenexa, KS location. Position will be responsible for assuring the quality of the NetTeller products by means of testing software tracking statistical
information; reviewing requirements design or Scope Document; and preparing test plans and test scripts for software corrections and enhancements. Will also schedule and perform manual. Position will submit errors/issues to development for correction, and retest. Assist Documentation and/or Education departments with details for documentation and/or training materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*
Executes and creates test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products. Defines moderate level scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing.
*
Schedules and performs appropriate testing; submits errors and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected following established procedures. Reports test results and status as appropriate. Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure.

Reviews and provides feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.
*
Interacts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.
*
Coordinates and performs basic testing projects from initiation through delivery. Ensures that testing projects are completed on schedule.

May submit test plans and test reports for review and feedback.
*
May create and maintain test libraries, databases, and test environments.
*
May assist with any software changes for documentation update or correction.
*
May serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
*
May assist with alpha and beta testing; may prepare enhancement test plans used at beta site.
*
May assist with education and training with regard to software enhancements and conveying corrections to other employees.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree preferred.
* Successful candidate will have 2+ years Software Quality Assurance testing experience and experience in analyzing statement of work documents as input for test plan and test script development.
* Experience using testing tools such as Team Foundation Server.
* Candidate must have excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as determination to see a task through to completion and remain on task during one or more iterations of a test process.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
* General knowledge of software development lifecycle.
* General knowledge of software testing lifecycles.
* General understanding of test design and testing methodologies.
* Able to perform the software quality certification function with accuracy and timeliness.
* Able to review system and functional requirements and extract information to use in preparing test plans and scripts.
* Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple projects.
* Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
* Able to define moderate to complex test cases and scenarios.
