ALATEC is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer II to assist in the development of an Operational Wrap-Around (OWA) for the Army Irregular Warfare Tactical Wargame at the TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC) in Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

Responsibilities:
Provide expertise to design, develop, and execute an automated computerized version of the OWA board game within the IW TWG Prototype v3.0.
Assist the development of the software development plan.
Understand and be able to explain the OWA game rules
Coordinate directly with customer agency for data.
Participate in design workshops and use the requirements identified at those workshops to recommend and/or execute enhancements to the IW TWG and the OWA.
Assist creation of graphical user interface and documentation.
Assist in automation of the OWA game mechanics, allowing for adjudication of player decisions as defined by OWA game rules and reporting back the results through the user interface.
Assist in development, documentation and help desk functionality.
Assist in testing and integration of the OWA within IW TWG Prototype v3.0.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study in computer science or other math-based discipline.
Experience:
- At least three years of task related experience in military modeling and simulations.
- Microsoft Office experience
- Java 6.0 experience
Certifications
SECRET Clearance is required
Security + or higher IAT.
