ALATEC is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer III to provide Operational Wrap-Around (OWA) development support for the Army Irregular Warfare Tactical Wargame at the TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC) in Ft. Leavenworth, KS.

Responsibilities:
Provide expertise to design, develop, and execute an automated computerized version of the OWA board game within the IW TWG Prototype v3.0.
Develop software development plan.
Understand and be able to explain the OWA game rules
Coordinate directly with CNA for support, to include gaining access to the most current version plus any updates to the OWA.
Participate in design workshops and use the requirements identified at those workshops to recommend and/or execute enhancements to the IW TWG and the OWA.
Create graphical user interface and documentation.
Automate the OWA game mechanics, allowing for adjudication of player decisions as defined by OWA game rules and reporting back the results through the user interface.
Allow for interaction between the OWA and IW TWG data models.
Develop and deliver full documentation and help desk functionality.
Test and integrate within IW TWG Prototype v3.0.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- At least seven years of task-related experience in military modeling and simulations (or at least three years of task-related experience with a Master s degree.)
- Microsoft Office experience
- Java 6.0 experience
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study in computer science or other related math-based discipline.
Required Certification:
- SECRET clearance is required.
- Security + or higher IAT
